Zesty Greek Cuisine in South Carolina

"I ordered the special which was falafel & hummus. My wife had the Greek salad with grilled chicken. There’s no falafel "sandwich" on the menu(which surprised me)so I went for next best. The Greek salad looked amazing and I wished I’d ordered it! The deserts are incredible. Second time there, a few days later, got right in and was eating within five minutes. The falafel & hummus was our appetizer and we BOTH had the Greek salad this time around. It was super fresh with first rate ingredients, feta cheese, olives, green peppers, banana peppers etc. our new favorite place to eat! The Greek salad with chicken or salmon is the best salad anywhere."

"Originally from Florida and transplanted to Ohio, here on vacation! My favorite Greek restaurant has always been Spiros, But this is even better than any Greek I’ve ever had before! The tzatziki was thick and creamy, the pita bread was amazing! The lamb/beef gyro was so good. I always add feta cheese and tzatziki sauce to my french fries and it hit so hard here too!! The Greek salad was also amazing. No complaints here"

"You won't leave hungry! Our waitress was top notch. Attentive, but not pushy! The portion size was great. My husband and I are both big eaters. I got a gyro and my husband loved his as well. Barely had room for dessert so I settled for something small. The dessert selection is AWESOME! We may just go back for dessert next time"

"Great experience, new owners did a great job remodeling the inside. So clean and nice new booths, tables, etc. Food was so great in every way, we both got the chicken gyro special with fries and salad. Incredible fresh, great flavor, super value, get a lot of food for the money. Really great food prep by the cook. Definitely recommend you go!"

"For some reason I expected a higher end greek restaurant than others in the area but it was pretty standard. Food was good but the service was weak although I noticed other table with other wait staff did have better service. We had gyro with fries, had to ask about where our fries where. It wasn't that busy for the inattention. The eating area is nice, temperature was a bit too cold for my wife, lots of seating compared to other greek restaurants in the area."

"I have actually been to Greece, and many Greek Restaurants/ and Diners throughout the United States, and this is the ONLY place where the Falafel tasted truly Authentic!!! My husband also enjoyed his Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and was pleasantly surprised with his huge Onion Soup!! Couldn't fit dessert, so we took it to go and it did not disappoint us either. Denise was our waitress and was open, friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this place and hope the owner can expand his menu !! We will be back. Thank you for a nicely surprising evening. "This place has the absolute best authentic Greek dishes within 150 miles!!! Greg, the owner, who is of Greek decent and southern raised by his mom who is also of Greek decent - took many of his mom's recipes and is now serving them up at Zesty's Greek Cuisine! We have been here twice and have tried almost every special dish on the menu and thinking we must be back in Astoria, New York! Try any dish you like and even if you have never had Greek cuisine, there is something Greek on the menu that will tickle your palette. You must go here if you want a terrific home style cooked meal that is server piping hot, tasty as can be and with a smile as the staff is very helpful and friendly. You will NOT be disappointed - we drive all the way from Leland to have dinner here!!! The meal and company is worth the miles! :)"
